The Abbey National Building Society was formed following the merger of the Abbey Road Building Society and the National Building Society in 1944.

Abbey provide a range of secured and unsecured personal loans. Abbey secured loans are secured against property and are available to you if you have an Abbey mortgage or you own your home free of mortgage.

Loans are available from between £1,000 to £20,000 and can be repaid over 1 to 8 years (from 12 - 96 months in 6 monthly intervals).
